3 A RESOLUTION SETTING FEBRUARY 19, 2019, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ISSUANCE OF WATER
5 RECLAMATION SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
6 FINANCING BETTERMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S
7 WATER RECLAMATION SYSTEM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City") owns a Water Reclamation System (the
10 "System"),which is operated by Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority(the"LRWRA"),for and on behalf
11 of the Little Rock Water Reclamation Commission(the"Commission");and,
12 WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the acquisition, construction and equipping of
13 betterments and improvements to the System are necessary.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
15 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. A Public Hearing shall be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at 6:00 PM, or as soon
17 afterwards as the item is reached upon the call of the Agenda,in the Board Chambers on the second floor of
18 City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, on whether to consider the issuance of up to
19 Eighteen Million Dollars($18,000,000.00)in principal amount of Water Reclamation System Revenue Bonds
20 for the purpose of financing betterments and improvements to the System.
21 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
22 law by publication once a week for two(2)consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
23 Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
25 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
26 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
27 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with the
29 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
