119891 2 RESOLUTION NO. 11,989 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH FRALEY ROOFING, INC. TO REPLACE 5 THE ROOF ON THE FLEET SERVICES BUILDING;AND FOR OTHER 6 PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the existing roof on the Fleet Services Building is beyond repair and 9 requires replacement, and 10 WHEREAS, Invitation to Bid No. 5243 was issued for the replacement of the 11 existing roof on the Fleet Services Building and Fraley Roofing, Inc. submitted the most 12 responsive and responsible bid in the amount of One Hundred Fifty -eight Thousand, 13 Five Hundred Eighty -three and no /100 Dollars ($158,583.00). 14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter 17 into a contract with Fraley Roofing, Inc. in the amount of One Hundred Forty -one 18 Thousand, Five Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($141,500.00). 19 Section 2. Funds for this purpose are to be allocated from the 2005 Short Term 20 Financing Account. 21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 22 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 23 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 24 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so 25 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 26 resolution.
