3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS,FOR A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT THOUSAND,
6 FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-ONE DOLLARS ($168,491.00), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF ONE (1) FREIGHTLINER ROLL-OFF TRUCK FOR THE
8 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has a need to purchase one(1)Freightliner Roll-Off Truck
11 to replace an aged,high maintenance vehicle currently in the City's fleet;and,
12 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through the utilization of Sourcewell,formerly National Joint
13 Powers Alliance(NJPA), Contract No. 112014-THC.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF'1'HlE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with River City Hydraulics for the
17 purchase of one(1)Freightliner Roll-Off Truck for a total amount not to exceed One Hundred Sixty-Eight
18 Thousand,Four Hundred Ninety-One Dollars($168,491.00).
19 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in a Solid Waste Collections Account No. 603110-
20 72300.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
