3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 7, 2006, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF
5 WEST 26TH RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCKS 5 AND
6 7, C.E. GALLAGHER'S ADDITION, EAST OF BOOKER STREET, IN
7 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
11 Board of Directors vacate and abandon a portion of West 26t" right-of-way located
12 between Blocks 5 and 7, C.E. Gallagher's Addition, East of Booker Street, as public
13 right-of-way, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-
14 54-104, in the City of Little Rock.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned
18 right-of-way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 7�" day of February, 2006.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
23 in the City of Little Rock.
