3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN FOR
4 BOWMAN — CHENAL PARKWAY INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
5 PROJECT EASEMENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some right -of -way and temporary construction
8 easements necessary for construction of the Bowman - Chenal Intersection
9 Improvements Project have been unsuccessful; and
10 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
11 of eminent domain;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
15 of temporary construction easements and right -of -way for the Bowman- Chenal
16 Intersection Improvements Project.
17 Section 2. Funding for this project is available in account 314 - 220 -II01.
18 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
19 adoption.
