3 A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 5, 2018, AS THE DATE OF
4 PUBLIC HEARING ON AN APPEAL OF THE PLANNING
5 COMMISSION'S ACTION IN DENYING A VARIANCE REQUEST FOR
6 THE BREEDING ADDITION PRELIMINARY/FINAL PLAT, LOCATED
7 AT 7718 HENDERSON ROAD, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS (S-1809 •

8 A); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a Notice of Appeal has been filed by the property owner as a result of the Little Rock
11 Planning Commission's denial of a variance request for the proposed preliminary/final plat to allow a
12 variance from the Subdivision Ordinance with regard to the depth-to-width ratio; and,
13 WHEREAS, the applicant timely filed an appeal of this decision to the Little Rock Board of
14 Directors.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
17 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on Tuesday,November 5, 2018, , 2018, at 6:00 PM, or as
18 soon afterwards as the item is reached upon the call of the Agenda, in the Board Chambers on the second
19 floor of City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, on the question of whether to
20 overturn the denial by the Little Rock Planning Commission of a request to allow an increased depth-to-
21 width ratio for the property located at 7718 Henderson Road,Pulaski County,Arkansas(S-1809-A).
22 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
23 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
24 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
