3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ONLINE CONSTRUCTION, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, SIX
6 HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($100,620.00), FOR BISCAYNE DRIVE
7 DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, NORTH OF ILLINOIS STREET AND
8 WEST OF GLEN ABBEY COURT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for Drainage Improvements on Biscayne Drive,north of Illinois Street
11 and west of Glen Abbey Court,Project No. 16-4-DR-17, Bid No. 18-031; and,
12 WHEREAS, Online Construction, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Online Construction,
17 Inc.,for Biscayne Drive Drainage Improvements,north of Illinois Street and west of Glen Abbey Court, in
18 an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty Dollars($100,620.00),which is the
19 base bid amount of Eighty-Three Thousand, Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($83,850.00), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
22 Use Tax Funds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,310.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
