A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
LASITER CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR
INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CALMING
DEVICES ON PLEASANT FOREST DR.
WHEREAS, traffic problems have been a growing concern for residents on Pleasant
Forest Drive, and
AND, Bids were solicited for the Installation of Traffic Claming Devices on Pleasant
Forest Drive with Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitting the lowest responsible bid, in the
amount of Sixty -one Thousand, One Hundred Two Dollars and Zero Cents ($61,102.00)
Bid No. 05 -347.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement for an
amount not to exceed $70,000.00 with Lasiter Construction, Inc. for Installation Traffic
Calming Devices on Pleasant Forest Dr.
SECTION 2. Funds for this project are available in account 210- 220 -13361. Amount for
construction services: $67,212.20 ($61,102.00 plus 10% contingencies).
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
