3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH MARK MCLARTY FORD, FOR A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED ELEVEN THOUSAND, EIGHT
6 DOLLARS ($111,008.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) FORD
7 INTERCEPTOR SPORTS UTIITY VEHICLES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
8 POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department needs four(4)Ford Interceptor Sports Utility Vehicles
11 to replace two (2) wrecked vehicles and two (2) aged vehicles currently in the City's Fleet which have
12 become expensive to maintain and repair; and,
13 WHEREAS, vendor selection of the four (4) Ford Interceptor Sports Utility Vehicles, meeting the
14 specifications needed,was made through utilization of State Contract No. SP-18-0001,Item No. 59.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Mark McLarty Ford for the
18 purchase of four (4) Ford Interceptor Sports Utility Vehicles, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred
19 Eleven Thousand,Eight Dollars($111,800.00).
20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the Wrecks and Insurance Fund, Account No.
21 210759-72300-S00B399.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
