3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULIC COMPANY, FOR A
5 TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF FOUR HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND,
6 SEVENTY-EIGHT AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($402,078.40), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF TWO (2) REAR LOADER SANITATION TRUCKS FOR
8 THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has a need for two (2) Rear Loader Sanitation Trucks to
11 allow for the expansion of the Bulky Item Pick-Up Program currently utilized by the City of Little Rock
12 for the benefit of its Citizens; and,
13 WHEREAS,vendor selection of the Rear Loader Sanitation Trucks,meeting the specifications needed,
14 was made through the Joint Powers Alliance Contract No. 112014-THC.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with River City Hydraulic Company
18 for the purchase of two(2)Rear Loader Sanitation Trucks, in an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Two
19 Thousand, Seventy-Eight and 40/100 Dollars($402,078.40)..
20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in Public Works Waste Disposal Fund, Account No.
21 603110-723 00-S40A5 60.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full-force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
