3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE
5 AGREEMENT FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THREE
6 FINANCIAL CENTRE BUILDING, IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR
7 POLICE USE PURPOSES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) is in need of additional property for the
10 storage of evidence; and,
11 WHEREAS, LRPD has identified property located in the Three Financial Centre Building in Little
12 Rock,Arkansas, as being well-suited to the purpose of evidence storage for the Department; and,
13 WHEREAS,the City Board of Directors has determined that it is in the best interests of the City for
14 the City to execute the Second Amendment to Lease Agreement for the property located at Three
15 Financial Centre for the needed evidence storage for the total rental payment of Fourteen Thousand, Five
16 Hundred Fifty-Eight and 88/100 Dollars($14,558.88)for a one(1)-year period.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute, the Second Amendment to Lease
20 Agreement as appropriate and in a form approved by the City Attorney, for the property located at Three
21 Financial Centre Building, in Little Rock, Arkansas, for the total sum of Fourteen Thousand, Five
22 Hundred Fifty-Eight and 88/100 Dollars($14,558.88)for a one(1)-year period.
23 Section 2. Funds are available for this expenditure in the 2018 Departmental Budget Account No.
24 105215-65140.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
31 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
