RESOLUTION NO. 121154
3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE ALLOCATION OF UP TO
4 FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000.00) FROM
5 THE 2004 ISSUANCE AND RESERVE FUND TO THE FIRE
6 DEPARTMENT IMPROVEMENT FUND — 2004 BOND ISSUE;
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the 2004 Bond Issue allocated $5,500,000 for the Fire Training
10 Academy Phase II improvement, and
11 WHEREAS, engineer estimates and actual bids indicate that additional funds
12 will be needed to complete the Fire Training Academy, and
13 WHEREAS, the bond covenants state that interest earned on the bond proceeds
14 will be used first to complete promised projects, and
15 WHEREAS, the Bond Progress Committee approved the use of $500,000 of
16 interest;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the allocation of an amount
20 not to exceed Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) for the completion of the
21 Fire Training Academy.
22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
23 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid
24 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
25 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the
extent of such inconsistency.
