3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD A
4 CONTRACT TO TERRACON CONSULTANTS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT
5 OF ONE HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND, SIX-HUNDRED FORTY-
6 TWO DOLLARS ($112,642.00), FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
7 THE PARTIAL CLOSURE OF CELL 4 OF THE CLASS 1 LANDFILL;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited for Engineering Services for the partial closure of Cell 4 of the Class
11 1 Landfill; and,
12 WHEREAS,Terracon Consultants was chosen by an Internal Selection Committee.
13 NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Terracon Consultants,
16 Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Twelve Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-Two Dollars ($112,642.00)
17 Engineering Services for the partial closure of Cell 4 of the Class 1 Landfill.
18 Section 2. Funding for this contract will be from the Solid Waste Disposal Account No.603120-63390.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
20 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
21 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
25 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
