3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH CLARK MACHINERY FOR A TOTAL REPAIR
5 COST OF ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE
6 HUNDRED NINETY-TWO AND 50/100 DOLLARS($135,392.50),FOR THE
7 REPAIR OF A LINK BELK TRACKHOE FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has a Link Belt Trackhoe that was damaged when it rolled
11 over at the City of Little Rock Landfill; and,
12 WHEREAS, Clark Machinery is available to repair the Link Belt Trackhoe for a total repair cost of
13 One Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand,Three Hundred Ninety-Two and 50/100 Dollars($135,392.50).
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Clark Machinery for the repair
17 of the damaged Link Belk Trackhoe for a total repair cost of One Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand, Three
18 Hundred Ninety-Two and 50/100 Dollars($135,392.50).
19 Section 2. Funds for this repair are allocated in the Fleet Maintenance Account No. 600036-61250.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
