3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND,
6 SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($716,670.00), FOR PLANTATION
7 DRIVE SEDIMENT REMOVAL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

9 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for improvements Plantation Drive Sediment Removal, Project No.

10 13-B-1D,Bid No. 18-018; and,
11 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
12 specifications.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township Builders,
16 Inc., for Plantation Drive Sediment Removal in an amount not to exceed Seven Hundred Sixteen
17 Thousand, Six Hundred Seventy Dollars ($716,670.00), which is the base bid amount of Five Hundred
18 Ninety-Seven Thousand,Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars($597,225.00),plus 20%contingencies.
19 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the Vs-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
20 Use Tax Funds and the 2013 Capital Improvements Bonds for Streets and Drainage as authorized by
21 Resolution No. 13,699 and amended by Resolution No. 14,269.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
