HDC_10 01 1992MINUTES LITTLE ROCK HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING OCTOBER 1, 1992 5:00 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Thomas Johnson. A quorum was present - Mr. John Bush, Mr. Carl Menyhart, Ms. Jeanette Heinbockel, Ms. Julie Wiedower and Mr. Thomas Johnson. City Attorney Stephen Giles was present. The Chairman asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. A motion was made by Commissioner Bush to approve the minutes as received. Commissioner Heinbockel seconded. Motion carried. All ayes. Item #1 - Owner: Randy Jeffery, Agent Location: 913 Rock Street Request: Alteration and remodeling of residence Mr. Randy Jeffery presented the application to the Commission and explained in detail his proposal for the residence at 913 Rock Street. Mr. Jeffery's plan involved removing the brick portions of the exterior to expose the existing wood frame windows. (See Exhibits A, B and C.) Mr. Jeffery stated that the front porch would be constructed of wood and not the iron on his drawings. A lengthy discussion of building materials and the possibility of removing the entire brick veneer followed. Commissioner Heinbockel made a motion to approve the application. Commissioner Menyhart seconded. The vote was taken. Motion carried. All ayes. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
