HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION

A discussion of the working boundaries urged the Commission to reaffirm
their previous vote as a majority of members were present. Again, the
boundary lines received a unanimous acceptance as preliminary boundaries.
A motion was made to request the Board of Directors to declare a mora-
torium on demolitions within the working boundaries of the Historic
District which passed with all members voting affirmatively. The City
Attorney's representative suggested that the Commission set a timeframe
for this procedure and build in a variance process so that property
owners may seek relief through the Board of Directors.
