3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 2, 2018, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON THE APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
5 DENIAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A
6 MULTISECTIONAL MODULAR HOME ON THE R-3, SINGLE-FAMILY
7 DISTRICT,ZONED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2605 BROWN STREET(Z-
8 9312), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,on April 19, 2018,the Planning Commission denied a Conditional Use Permit to allow a
12 Multisectional Modular Home on the property located at 2605 Brown Street, in the City of Little Rock,
13 Arkansas; and
14 WHEREAS,the applicant, Aaron Agnew, Sr., is appealing the denial; and
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
16 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on Tuesday,July 2,2018,at 6:00 PM,or as soon afterwards as
18 the item is reached upon the call of the Agenda,in the Board Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 500
19 West Markham Street,Little Rock, Arkansas, on the question of whether to overturn the denial by the Little
20 Rock Planning Commission of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a Multisectional Modular Home on the R-3,
21 Single-Family District,zoned property located at 2605 Brown Street
22 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
23 law by publication once a week for two(2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
24 Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
26 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
27 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
28 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with the
30 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
