3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JULY 17, 2018, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON OF A NUMBER OF
5 EASEMENTS AND COVENANTS LOCATED WITHIN THE LITTLE ROCK
6 LAND COMPANY MEDICAL AND COMMERCIAL PARK,LOCATED AT
7 600 SOUTH UNIVERSITY AVENUE(G-24-054),IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
8 ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Midtown Limited Partnership("Partnership") is the property owner of the
1 1 Little Rock Land Company Medical and Office Park located within the boundaries of South University
12 Avenue,Midtown Avenue, South McKinley Street and Interstate 630;and
13 WHEREAS, the Partnership requests the City to abandon the easements and covenants to facilitate
14 redevelopment of the property located at 600 South University Avenue;and,
15 WHEREAS, all proper statutory procedures for such an abandonment have been met and the issue is ripe
16 for consideration by the Board of Directors; and,
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
18 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held on Tuesday,July 17,2018,at 6:00 PM,or as soon afterwards as
20 the item is reached upon the call of the Agenda, in the Board Chambers on the second floor of City Hall,500
21 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas,concerning the abandonment of the easements and covenants
22 located at 600 South University.
23 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
24 law by publication once a week for two(2)consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
25 Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
27 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
28 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
29 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with the
31 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
