3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH MARK MCLARTY FORD LINCOLN, FOR A
5 TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF EIGHTY-FOUR THOUSAND, THREE
6 HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE AND 20/100 DOLLARS ($84,361.20), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF ONE (1), THREE (3) CUBIC-YARD DUMP TRUCK FOR
8 THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, The Public Works Department is in need of a Three (3) Cubic-Yard Dump Truck to
11 replace an aged truck currently being used which has become expensive to maintain and repair; and
12 WHEREAS, vendor selection of the Three (3) Cubic-Yard Dump Truck, meeting the specifications
13 needed,was made through the formal bid process,Bid No. 17181;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Mark McLarty Ford Lincoln
17 for the purchase of one(1),Three(3)Cubic-Yard Dump Truck
18 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in Public Works Operations Account No. 205409-
19 72300-S40B615.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
