3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH ENTERPRISE FLEET MANAGEMENT, INC., IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR
6 THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE DOLLARS ($244,171.00),
7 TO LEASE FORTY-EIGHT (48) UNDERCOVER VEHICLES FOR THE
8 LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department Undercover Division be equipped
11 with reliable forms of vehicular transportation; and,
12 WHEREAS, on January 17, 2018, Formal Bid No. 18109 was issued for the leasing of Undercover
13 Vehicles;and
14 WHEREAS, it was determined by the Selection Committee that the bid of Enterprise Fleet
15 Management, Inc., was the lowest responsible and responsive bid for a total cost of Two Hundred Forty-
16 Four Thousand, One Hundred Seventy-One Dollars($244,171.00),plus applicable taxes;
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a one (1)-year contract, with not more than
20 two (2), one(1)-year renewal extensions with Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., for the leasing of forty-
21 eight(48)Undercover Vehicles.
22 Section 2. The funding for the leased vehicles is available in the 2018 Special Investigations
23 Divisional Budget,Account No. 105215-65140.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
