In Official Records of Larry Crane Circuit/County Clerk ‘3%: .l.%+ `^ a PULASKI CO,AR FEE$20.00 1t . 4 P4 RESOLUTION NO. 14,738 k * 4SK/onn'cor11�4�.```�` 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MARCH 20, 2018, AS THE DATE FOR A 4 PUBLIC HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF LITTLE ROCK 5 MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS' MULTIPURPOSE IMPROVEMENT 6 DISTRICT NO. 2018-329 (PIPER LANE RECREATION DISTRICT); AND 7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided a petition executed by the owners of a majority in value 10 of the relevant property to form and lay off a Municipal Property Owners' Multipurpose Improvement 11 District(Piper Lane Recreation District); and, 12 WHEREAS, before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little 13 Rock Board of Directors; 14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. A public hearing shall be held by the Board of Directors at its meeting that will start at 6:00 17 PM on March 20, 2018, regarding the question of whether to form and lay off Little Rock Municipal 18 Property Owners' Multipurpose Improvement District No. 2018-329 (Piper Lane Recreation District) and 19 the property more completely described as follows: 20 A part of the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 6, T-1-N, R-13-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, 21 being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of the 22 said SW 1/4 NW 1/4;thence N 01°18'33"E,along the west line of said Section 6,a distance 23 • of 1,165.00 feet; thence S89°04'21"E, a distance of 382.20 feet; thence S00°59'17"W, a 24 distance of 465.00 feet; thence N89°04'15"W, a distance of 46.09 feet; thence 25 S01°39'12"W,a distance of 700.00 feet to the south line of the said SW 1/4 NW 1/4;thence 26 N89°04'40"W, along said south line, a distance of 334.51 feet to the Point of Beginning. 27 Containing 9.5028 acres, more or less. LESS AND EXCEPT any part of subject property 28 condemned in Circuit Court Case No. 89-3386, Records of Pulaski County, Arkansas. 29 LESS AND EXCEPT any part of subject property lying within the public right-of-way of 30 Pride Valley Road. 31 Section 2. Notice of the date and time of this public hearing shall be published in accordance with •32 Arkansas State Law. 33 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 4 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 6 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 7 resolution. 8 Section 5. Repealer.
