3 A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF CHENAL HEIGHTS
4 CIRCLE TO CHENAL VILLAGE DRIVE; AND FOR OTHER
5 PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, Silver Development Company, the developer of Chenal Village, has filed a petition to
8 change the name of Chenal Heights Circle to Chenal Village Drive; and,
9 WHEREAS, the petition contained the signatures of more than 50% of the businesses located along
10 the street proposed for renaming, indicating their support for the street name change; and,
11 WHEREAS, the street name change will not affect the addresses of any of the abutting businesses;
12 and,
13 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its January 25, 2018, meeting, voted to
14 recommend approval of the proposed street name change with a vote of 10 ayes, 0 nays and 1 absent.
15 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
17 Section 1. The name of Chenal Heights Circle is hereby changed to Chenal Village Drive.
18 Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the City
19 Manager is hereby directed to notify all City Departments of said change.
