3 .A RESOLUTION SETTING MARCH 6, 2018, AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ABANDONMENT OF AN UNNAMED
5 STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED WEST OF SOUTH UNIVERSITY;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City"), maintains an unnamed street right-of-way
9 located west of South University Avenue,running south from Mid-Town Avenue(G-23-468)in the City;and,
10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Midtown Limited Partnership("Partnership")is the abutting property owner;
11 and,
12 WHEREAS,the Partnership requests the City to abandon a fifty(50)-foot wide(fifty(50)feet x 294 feet)
13 unnamed street right-of-way running south from Midtown Avenue, approximately 639 feet west of South
14 University Avenue; and,
15 WHEREAS,all proper statutory procedures for such an abandonment have been met and the issue is ripe
16 for consideration by the Board of Directors; and,
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
18 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. A public hearing concerning the abandonment of the unnamed street right-of-way located west
20 of South University will be held by the Board of Directors at its meeting that will start at 6:00 PM,on March 6,
21 2018, at City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. At the public hearing, all interested
22 persons shall have the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed abandonment.
