14715 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,715 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 APPROVE A CONTRACT INCREASE WITH FTN ASSOCIATES, LTD, 5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS 6 ($50,000.00), TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR 7 THE 2017-2018 GIS STORM WATER SYSTEM MAPPING AND DATA 8 COLLECTION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, authorized a contract with 11 FTN Associates, LTD, via Resolution No. 14,591 (June 20, 2017), for Storm Water Map Data 12 Development, which was funded in part with a grant from the Pulaski Area Geographical Information 13 System(PAGIS)authorized by Resolution No. 14,509 (February 21,2017) ,and 14 WHEREAS,The Pulaski Area Geographic Information System (PAGIS)has offered a grant increase 15 to further scope and quality of the mapping project with FTN Associates. 16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract amendment with FTN 19 Associates, LTD, in the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) making a new contract total of 20 Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars($280,000.00), including contingencies. 21 Section 2. Funding for this contract is from a grant from the Pulaski Area Geographical System 22 (Activity No. G22057) in the amount of Two Hundred Th4irty-Five Thousand Dollars ($235,000.00) and 23 Street Fund Special Projects (Activity No. S40B613) in an amount not to exceed Forty-Five Thousand 24 Dollars($45.000.00). 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4.
