14714 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,714 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT 4 THE OFFER OF A GRANT INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00), FROM THE PULASKI AREA 6 GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM(PAGIS)FOR STORM WATER 7 MAP DATA DEVELOPMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock Board of Directors authorized the acceptance of Grant Funds and 10 expenditure of City Matching Funds from the Pulaski Area Geographic Information System (PAGIS) by 11 Resolution No. 14,509 (February 21, 2017) to improve and expand existing Storm Water Maps and data 12 for use in supporting State and Federal Regulations, engineering planning, flood control, water quality 13 monitoring and Infrastructure Asset'Management; and 14 WHEREAS,PAGIS has offered additional grant funds to further the work completed thus far. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF LITTLE 16 ROCK,ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute all appropriate amendments to the grant 18 agreement and contracts necessary to implement an expanded scope of storm water map work. 19 Section 2. Funding for the project is from a grant from the PAGIS organization(Activity No.G22057) 20 and Street Fund Special Project Matching Funds (Activity No. S40B613). The grant increase offer is for 21 Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000), making a new total project cost of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand 22 Dollars($280,000.00), including contingencies,of which the estimated PAGIS share will be Two Hundred 23 Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($235,000.00) and the estimated City share will be Forty-Five Thousand 24 Dollars($45,000.00). 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
