3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ROYAL OVERHEAD DOOR, INC., TO
5 PROVIDE OVERHEAD DOOR REPAIRS ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. 17185-C, was issued to
9 provide overhead door repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Royal Overhead Door, Inc., submitted
10 the lowest quotation at Sixty-Five Dollars($65.00)per hour labor;and
11 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1)-year and may be extended for an
12 additional six(6), one(1)-year periods,upon agreement of the parties;
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
16 Royal Overhead Door, Inc., to provide overhead door repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of
17 Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.00) per hour labor, with the initial term of the contract being one (1)-year from
18 date of award, which may be extended for an additional six (6), one (1)-year periods upon agreement of
19 the parties.
20 Section 2. Funds are available in Building Services Operating Budget Account No. 104010-61010.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
