3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REX WHITE PLUMBING, LLC, TO
5 PROVIDE PLUMBING REPAIRS ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. 17171R-C, was issued to
9 provide plumbing repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Rex White Plumbing, LLC, submitted the
10 lowest qualifying quotation at Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) per hour for Master Plumber, Seventy-Five
11 Dollars ($75.00) per hour for Journeyman Plumber and Forty-Five Dollars ($45.00) per hour for
12 Apprentice Plumber labor;and
13 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1)-year and may be extended for an
14 additional six(6), one(1)-year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
18 Rex White Plumbing, LLC, to provide plumbing repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of
19 Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) per hour for Master Plumber, Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) per hour for
20 Journeyman Plumber and Forty-Five Dollars ($45.00) per hour for Apprentice Plumber labor, with the
21 initial term of the contract being one (1)-year from date of award, which may be extended for an
22 additional six(6), one(1)-year periods upon agreement of the parties.
23 Section 2. Funds are available in Building Services Operating Budget Account No. 104010-61010.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
