3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MARK McLARTY FORD LINCOLN, TN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND,SEVEN
6 HUNDRED NINETY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($105,792.00), FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6) NEW FORD FUSION SEDANS FOR THE
8 LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, there is a need for six (6) new Ford Fusion Sedans for use by the Little Rock Police
11 Department's Traffic Safety Officer Program; and,
12 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made utilizing the State Vehicle Contract No. SP-18-0001;
13 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Mark McLarty Ford Lincoln
16 for the purchase of six(6)new Ford Fusion Sedans in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Five Thousand,
17 Seven Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars($105,792.00).
18 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the General Fund – Finance Special Projects
19 Account No.108259-72300–S528888.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
