14638 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,638 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER A 4 CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, IN THE AMOUNT OF 5 TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED SIXTY- 6 FIVE AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($255,365.40), FOR THE PURCHASE OF 7 SIXTY (60) MOTOROLA RADIOS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE 8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock has purchased sixty(60) Ford Interceptor Sports Utility Vehicles 11 pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 14,623 (August 15, 2017); and, 12 WHEREAS, it is necessary to place Motorola Radios into these vehicles for their use by the Little 13 Rock Police Department; and, 14 WHEREAS, the City is able to purchase these Motorola Radios pursuant to Arkansas State Contract 15 No. SP-16-0128, in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand, Three Hundred Sixty-Five and 16 40/100 Dollars($255,365.40); 17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase sixty (60) Motorola Radios from Motorola 20 Solutions, in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand, Three Hundred Sixty-Five and 40/100 21 Dollars($255,365.40), for use by the Little Rock Police Department. 22 Section 2. Funds for this appropriation are available in Account No. 325529-72300-F447002 as part 23 of the 2017 Police Short-Term Note. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 28 resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
