14601 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,601 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD 4 A CONTRACT TO REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO 6 THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY AND 32/100 DOLLARS 7 ($132,520.32), FOR THE FOX CHAPEL CUL-DE-SAC DRAINAGE 8 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES 9 10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for construction of the Fox Chapel Cul-de-Sac Drainage 11 Improvements,Bid No. 17013,Project No. 16-5-DR-14; and, 12 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting 13 specifications. 14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone 17 Construction Group, Inc., for the Fox Chapel Cul-de-Sac Drainage Improvements in an amount not to 18 exceed One Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand, Five Hundred Twenty and 32/100 Dollars ($132,520.32), 19 which is the base bid amount of One Hundred Ten Thousand, Four Hundred Thirty-Three and 60/100 20 Dollars($110,433.60),plus 20%contingencies. 21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating 22 Use Tax Funds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,310. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4.
