WHEREAS, the future Land Use Plan should be reviewed periodically to maintain its accuracy and 9 usefulness,and; 10 WHEREAS, City Staff has reviewed the area in question provided, considering the existing use and 11 zoning patterns as well as trends in development in the area,and; 12 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the package of suggested changes 13 and now recommends them for adoption. 14 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK. 16 Section 1. The area generally south of Kanis Road, between Rock Creek and Edswood Road is 17 amended from Residential High Density(RH)to Suburban Office(SO). (LU17-01-01) 18 Section 2. The area north of Colonel Glenn Road, west of Lake Roman Road to the Planning 19 Boundary is amended from Agricultural(A)to Residential Low Density(RL). (LU17-01-02) 20 Section 3.An area southwest of the Colonel Glenn Road&Marsh Road intersection is amended from 21 Residential Low Density(RL)to Mixed Office Commercial(MOC). (LU17-01-03) 22 Section 4.An area southeast of the Colonel Glenn Road&Rocky Lane intersection is amended from 23 Residential Low Density(RL)to Mixed Use(MX). (LU 17-01-04) 24 Section 5. An area northeast of the Marsh Road & Lawson Road intersection is amended from 25 Residential Medium Density(RM)to Residential Low Density(RL). (LU17-01-05) 26 Section 6. An area northwest of the Whippoorwill Lane&Crystal Lane intersection is amended from 27 Public Institutional(PI)to Residential Low Density(RL). (LU17-01-06) 28 Section 7. An area south of Lawson Road near Hugh Taylor Road is amended from Light Industrial 29 (LI)to Park/Open Space(PK/OS). (LU17-01-07) 30 Section 8. An area south of Woodlands Trail at Foxden Trail is amended from Residential Low 31 Density(RL)to Park/Open Space(PK/OS). (LU17-01-08) 32 Section 9. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or ` 33 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or [Page 1 of 2] 1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 3 ordinance. 4 Section 10.Repealer.
