14590 NO. 14 1 RESOLUTION ,590 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SUNBELT FIRE, IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE 5 MILLION, ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND, FOUR 6 HUNDRED AND TWENTY-ONE DOLLARS ($1,145,421.00), FOR THE 7 PURCHASE OF TWO (2) E-ONE CUSTOM PUMPERS ON CYCLONE II 8 CHASSIS, FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING 9 THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL (HGAC) 10 COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER 11 PURPOSES. 12 • 13 WHEREAS,the Fleet Services Department is in need of two(2) E-One Custom Pumpers on Cyclone 14 II Chassis for the Little Rock Fire Department; and, 15 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAG), the City Fleet Services can 16 purchase the E-One Cyclone Custom Pumpers from Sunbelt Fire for the amount of One Million, One 17 Hundred Forty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty-One Dollars($1,145,421.00). 18 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 21 Sunbelt Fire for the purchase of two (2) E-One Custom Pumpers on Cyclone II Chassis, utilizing the 22 Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC) Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, for the amount of One 23 Million, One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty-One Dollars($1,145,421.00) 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 5/8-Cent Sales Tax.Account. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section , paragraph , item, sentence, clause,phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional , such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution . 30 Section 4. Repealer.
