5 PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER STREET PLAN
6 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR WEST CHARLES BUSSEY
7 AVENUE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
10 ARKANSAS:
11 Section 1. That Chapter 30 of the Revised Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a deferral
12 • of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for a period of five (5) years, or until adjacent
13 property along West Charles Bussey Avenue is developed for The United Methodist Children's Home
14 Campus Long-Form POD, located at 2002 South Fillmore Street.
15 Subsection a. Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway improvements to
16 the requirements of the Master Street Plan will be deferred for a period of five (5)years, or until
17 adjacent development along West Charles Bussey Avenue occurs. The specific deferral is for
18 improving West Charles Bussey Avenue as part of The United Methodist Children's Home
19 Campus Long-Form POD along the frontage of the property at 2002 South Fillmore Street to
20 residential street standards including widening of thirteen (13) feet from centerline, curb, gutter,
21 sidewalk and access ramps.
22 Subsection b. On West Charles Bussey Avenue, a twenty-five (25)-foot right-of-way dedication
23 from centerline along the frontage of the property at 2002 South Fillmore Street will be required
24 prior to the issuance of the certificate of occupancy for the proposed campus facility approved by
25 the reference application.
26 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
30 ordinance.
31 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent
32 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
