3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MASTER STREET PLAN; ADDING
4 CLASS II — BIKE LANE AND CLASS III — BIKE ROUTE ON EAST 6TH
5 STREET BETWEEN SHERMAN STREET & SHALL AVENUE, AND ON
6 EAST 9TH STREET BETWEEN MCMATH AVENUE & COLLEGE
7 STREET, COLLEGE STREET BETWEEN EAST 9th & 17th STREETS,
8 AND EAST 17TH STREET BETWEEN COLLEGE AND BARBER
9 STREETS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the requested amendment to Master
12 Street Plan and recommends approval.
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK:
15 Section 1. The Master Street Plan Map is changed to show Class II — Bike Lane on East 6th Street
16 between Sherman & Collins Street and on East 9t'' Street, between McMath Avenue & Barber Street. A
17 Class III—Bike Route is added on East 6th Street, between Collins Street and Shall Avenue, and on East
18 9th Street, between Barber & College Streets, then College Street between East 9th and 17th Streets, then
19 East 17th Street between College and Barber Streets.
20 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
24 ordinance.
25 Section 3.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
26 the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
