145451 RESOLUTION NO. 14,545 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE AMENDED USES OF THE 2017 4 CDBG ENTITLEMENT FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 5 6 WHEREAS, as a part of the annual plan which must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing 7 & Urban Development ("HUD"), the City must suggest the sources of uses of certain funds to be received 8 from HUD; and 9 WHEREAS, consistent with the City's Citizen Participant Plan, the Consolidated Planning 10 Committee has recommended the amended sources and uses of the 2017 HUD Entitlement Funds which 11 are anticipated to total One Million, Three Hundred Four Thousand, One Hundred Thirty -Three Dollars 12 (1,304,133.00). 13 WHEREAS, a public hearing have been conducted in order to assure the maximum citizen input 14 possible. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The Board of Directors recommends submission of the following amended uses of an 18 anticipated One Million, Three Hundred Four Thousand, One Hundred Thirty -Three Dollars 19 (1,304,133.00) in 2017 Community Development Block Grant Funds: 20 (A) OWNER -OCCUPIED REHABILITATION $ 664,806.00 21 (B) WORLD CHANGERS $ 48,000.00 22 (C) WHEELCHAIR RAMPS $ 18,000.00 23 (D) COMMUNITY PROGRAMS -YOUTH JOB TRAINING $ 15,000.00 24 (E) CARELINK - MEALS ON WHEELS $ 58,250.00 25 (F) CHI -ST. VINCENT EAST CLINIC $ 159,250.00 26 (G) PAVE MY ALLEY -INFRASTRUCTURE $ 30,000.00 27 (H) ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT $ 50,000.00 28 (I) ADMINISTRATION $ 260,827.00 29 TOTAL $1,304,133.00 30 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 31 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 32 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 33 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 34 resolution. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
