A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF
EMINENT DOMAIN ON THE MELLWOOD
DRIVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some temporary construction easements and drainage easements
necessary for construction of the Mellwood Drive Drainage Improvements Project have been
unsuccessful; and
WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use of eminent domain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition of temporary
construction easements and drainage easements for this project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this property is available in account 315- 220 -DP04.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
