3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON
4 THE 29TH STREET (GILMAN STREET TO TATUM STREET) STREET
5 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some temporary construction easements and
8 drainage easements necessary for construction of the 29th Street (Gilman Street to Tatum
9 Street) Street Improvements Project have been unsuccessful; and
10 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
11 of eminent domain.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
15 of temporary construction easements and drainage easements for this project.
16 Section 2. Funding for this property is available in account 314 - 220 -SR06.
17 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
18 adoption.
