3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO CISNEROS FAMILY CONSTRUCTION, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN THOUSAND,
6 SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR AND 22/100 DOLLARS
7 (S118,794.22), FOR WRIGHT AVENUE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for improvements for Wright Avenue Sidewalk Improvements, Project
11 No. 13-1-71, Bid No. 16027; and,
12 WHEREAS, Cisneros Family Construction, was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
15 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Cisneros Family
17 Construction for the Wright Avenue Sidewalk Project, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighteen
18 Thousand, Seven Hundred Ninety-Four and 22/100 Dollars ($118,794.22), which is the base bid amount
19 of Ninety-Eight Thousand, Nine Hundred Ninety-Five and 18/100 Dollars ($98,995.18), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the %-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
22 Use Tax Funds as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699 and amended by Resolution No. 14,269.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word
24 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the
29 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
