3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH NORTH POINT FORD, FOR A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE COST OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND, FORTY
6 DOLLARS ($120,040.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4), FIFTEEN
7 (15)-PASSENGER VANS FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION
8 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Parks and Recreation Department is in need of four(4), Fifteen(15)-Passenger Vans;
11 and,
12 WHEREAS, this purchase will aid in the replacement of aged vehicles currently accruing high
13 maintenance expenses; and,
14 WHEREAS, vendor selection was performed through the formal competitive bid process;
15 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
18 North Point Ford for the purchase of four (4), Fifteen (15)-Passenger Vans for the Parks and Recreation
19 Department at a total cost of One Hundred Twenty Thousand, Forty Dollars($120,040.00);
20 Section 2. Funds for the purchase of the four(4) vans are allocated in the 2016 Short-Term Finance
21 Account.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
