SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
JANUARY 7,1999
5:30 P.M.
SUBJECT:Called meeting for purposes of electing officers for
calendar year 1999
PLANNINQ COMMISSION ACTION:(JANUARY 8,1999 )
The meeting was called to order.The Acting Chairman,Mr.Hugh
Earnest,identified for the record the subject before the
Commission and asked for nominations for Chairman.
The name of "Hugh Earnest"was offered.
A motion to close nominations was made and passed unanimously.
A motion for acclamation was made and passed unanimously.
Mr.Hugh Earnest is Chairman for 1999.
The Chairman then placed the subject of election of a Vice
Chairman on the floor and declared that it was to be by secret
ballot.
Ballots were provided each member.They were marked and
collected for tally by staffs The staff reported the result,
that being,Mrs.Pam Adcock is the Vice Chairperson for 1999.
After a brief general discussion,the Chairman adjourned the
meeting at 5:42 p.m.
