3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO HARRIS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, INC., IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-TWO THOUSAND NINETY-
6 THREE AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($92,093.40), FOR SANDPIPER DRIVE
7 SIDEWALKS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for improvements for Sandpiper Drive Sidewalks, Project No. 16-3-
10 SW-101, Bid No. 16023; and,
11 WHEREAS, Harris Construction Management, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid
12 meeting specifications.
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Harris Construction
16 Management, Inc., for the Sandpiper Drive Sidewalk Project in an amount not to exceed Ninety-Two
17 Thousand, Ninety-Three and 40/100 Dollars ($92,093.40), which is the base bid amount of Seventy-Six'
18 Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Four and 50/100 Dollars($ 76,744.50)plus 20%contingencies.
19 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
20 Use Tax Funds and the 2013 Capital Improvements Bonds for Streets and Drainage as authorized by
21 Resolution No. 14,216.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer.All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
29 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
