3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CRUSHING TIGERS, FOR A TOTAL COST
5 OF TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($227,000.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF A TRACK-MOUNTED
7 PORTABLE SCREEN PLANT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
8 DEPARTMENT,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department needs to purchase a Track-Mounted Portable Screen Plant
11 to replace one that was damaged by fire at the Landfill; and,
12 WHEREAS, Crushing Tigers submitted the most responsive and responsible bid through the formal
13 bid process at a total cost of Two Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Dollars($227,000.00);
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Crushing Tigers for the
17 purchase of a Track-Mounted Portable Screen Plant for the Public Works Department, for a total cost of
18 Two Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Dollars($227,000.00).
19 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2016 Solid-Waste Disposal Account.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid
21 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
22 resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
23 unconstitutional were not originally a part of this resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with any
25 provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
