3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH NORTH POINT FORD, IN THE TOTAL
5 PURCHASE PRICE OF TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT THOUSAND,
6 NINE HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($238,920.00), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF ELEVEN (11) FORD F-150 EXTENDED CAB PICK-UP
8 TRUCKS FOR THE HOUSING AND NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAMS
9 DEPARTMENT,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department is in need of eleven (11) Ford F-
12 150 Extended Cab Pick-Up Trucks; and,
13 WHEREAS, this purchase will allow for replacement of aged vehicles currently accruing high
14 maintenance expenses utilizing vendor selection through the formal bid process;
15 NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
18 North Point Ford for the purchase of eleven (11) Ford F-150 Extended Cab Pick-Up Trucks for the
19 Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department, for a total cost of this purchase being Two Hundred
20 Thirty-Eight Thousand,Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars($238,920.00).
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2016 Short-Term Finance Account (five (5)
22 trucks)and the 2016 5/8-Cent Sales Tax Account(six(6)trucks).
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
