14371 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,371 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO. 4 14,283 (FEBRUARY 2, 2016), WHICH AUTHORIZED THE CITY 5 MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BAILS AND 6 ASSOCIATES, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHTY-NINE 7 THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($89,920.00), PLUS 8 ANY APPLICABLE TAXES, FOR INFOR LAWSON UPGRADE AND 9 INSTALLATION SERVICES; TO AUTHORIZE THE EXPENDITURE OF 10 AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF SIX THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED 11 DOLLARS ($6,500.00), DUE TO UNEXPECTED ADDITIONAL WORK; 12 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 13 • 14 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock utilizes INFOR Lawson as its primary Enterprise Resource 15 Planning application for Finance, Human Resources and Purchasing; and 16 WHEREAS, on February 2, 2016,the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 14,283 authorizing 17 the City Manager to enter into a contract with Bails and Associates to provide upgrade and installation 18 services to the City in accordance with the terms and conditions offered in the proposal submitted in 19 response to the request for qualifications for INFOR Lawson Version 10 upgrade Bid No. 15172 in an 20 amount not to exceed Eighty-Nine Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars ($89,920.00), plus any 21 applicable taxes; and . 22 WHEREAS,due to an unforeseen change in software,additional hours of work are needed in order to 23 configure the process flows and fully complete the upgrade services. 24 WHEREAS,the additional work will require an additional payment of Six Thousand, Five-Hundred 25 Dollars($6,500). 26 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 27 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 28 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to expend and additional Six 29 Thousand,Five Hundred Dollars($6,500) in order to complete the upgrade services for INFOR Lawson. 30 Section 2. The additional funds for the upgrade and installation services required pursuant to the 31 contract authorized by Resolution No. 14,283 are available from the Information Technology allocation of 32 the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating Use Tax in project TS30A04. [Page 1 of 2J 1 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 2 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 3 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 4 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 5 resolution. 6 Section 4. Repealer.
