3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 13,954 (AUGUST 19, 2014) TO PROPERLY SET OUT THE VARIOUS
5 PROGRAMS AND AMOUNTS FOR THE 2015 COMMUNITY
6 DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS; TO INCLUDE A PROGRAM
7 FOR THE WEST CENTRAL SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors stated its intention to expend Community Development Block
11 Grant Monies for 2015 in a certain manner in Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 13,954(August 19,2014),
12 but has learned that fewer sums were awarded, and that one program was inadvertently omitted from the
13 list of programs to be funded;
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. Section 1 of Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 13,954(August 19,2014)is hereby amended
17 to read as follows:
18 The Board recommends that following uses of the 2015 Community Development
19 Block Grant Funds of One Million,Three Hundred and Forty-Six Thousand,Two Hundred
20 Seventy-Eight Dollars($1,346,278.00):
21 (A) Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation $779,174.00
22 (B) Carelink-Meals on Wheels 54,319.00
23 (C) World Changers 45,266.00
24 (D) West Central Senior Activity Center 21,727.00
25 (E) Wheelchair Ramps 18,106.00

15 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
16 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
17 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
18 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
19 resolution.
20 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
21 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency including, but not
22 limited to,Little Rock, Ark.,Resolution No. 13,954(August 9, 2014).
