14363 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,363 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH NORTH POINT FORD, IN THE TOTAL 5 PURCHASE PRICE OF EIGHTY-ONE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED 6 FORTY-SEVEN DOLLARS ($81,647.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF 7 THREE (3) FORD F-150 4x4 CREW CAB VEHICLES FOR THE LITTLE 8 ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE 9 CONTRACT PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER 10 PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is in need of three (3) Ford F-150 4x4 Crew Cab 13 Vehicles; and, 14 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, the Fleet Services Department can purchase 15 these three (3) vehicles for the total cost of Eighty-One Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars 16 ($81,647.00); and, 17 WHEREAS,this purchase will allow for replacement of aged vehicles currently in the City's fleet; 18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State 21 Contract No. SP-16-0001 to enter into a contract with North Point Ford for the purchase of three(3)Ford 22 F-150 4x4 Crew Cab Vehicles for the Little Rock Police Department, for a total cost of Eighty-One 23 Thousand, Six Hundred Forty-Seven Dollars ($81,647.00). 24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2016 Short-Term Financing Note Account. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
