14345 1 RESOLUTION NO. 14,345 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PARKING CITATION 5 MANAGEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT AWARDED TO 6 PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, LLC, ALSO KNOWN AS 7 DUNCAN SOLUTIONS, TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT TERM; AND 8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, on July 22, 2010, the City and Professional Account Management LLC, also known as 11 Duncan Solutions, executed a Parking Citation Management Services Agreement pursuant to Bid No. 12 9249; and, 13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 13,691 (May 21, 2013), the amended 14 agreement with Professional Account Management,LLC, is to expire May 23, 2016; and, 15 WHEREAS, the parties now wish to execute a second amendment to the current Agreement to 16 extend the term of the Agreement up to and including May 23, 2017, on the same terms and conditions as 17 in the original Agreement, as amended, to allow Public Works Staff additional time to review parking 18 enforcement advancements and technologies that can provide the City with an enhanced and more 19 efficient parking management system. 20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK.ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a Second 23 Amendment to the Parking Citation Management Services Agreement with Professional Account 24 Management, LLC, to extend the term of the Agreement, as amended, up to and including May 23, 2017, 25 on the same terms and conditions as the original Agreement, as amended. 26 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 3. Repealer.
