3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND, FIVE
6 HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE AND 60/100 DOLLARS ($531,579.60), FOR
7 THE BARROW ROAD STREETSCAPE WEST CENTRAL PARK AREA;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for Barrow Road Streetscape West Central Park Area, Project No.
11 13-B-6B Bid No. 16013• and
12 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township
17 Builders, Inc., for the Barrow Streetscape West Central Park in an amount not to exceed Five Hundred
18 Thirty-One Thousand, Five Hundred Seventy-Nine and 60/100 Dollars ($531,579.60), which is the base
19 bid amount of Four Hundred Forty-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-Three and 00/100 Dollars
20 ($442,983.00), plus 20% contingencies.
21 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the %-Cent Capital- Improvement Sales and
22 Compensating Use Tax Funds and the 2013 Capital Improvements Bonds for Streets and Drainage as
23 authorized by Resolution Number 13,699 and amended by Resolution No. 14,269.
24 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
25 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
31 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
