3 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION
4 CONTRACT WITH MCCLELLAND CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC.,
5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($300,000.00), FOR THE 2015 STREET ASPHALT OVERLAY
7 PROGRAM TO INCLUDE INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE 2016
8 STREET ASPHALT OVERLAY PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, McClelland Engineers, Inc., was selected through a Statement of Qualifications
12 process, Bid No. 14202, to provide construction inspection services for the 2015 Street Overlay Program;
13 and
14 WHEREAS, Construction Inspection Services are needed for the 2016 Street Overlay Program.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the 2015 Street
18 Overlay Program Construction Inspection Contract with McClelland Engineers, Inc., to include
19 Construction Inspection Services for the 2016 Street Overlay Program.
20 Section 2. Construction inspection services funding for the 2016 Street Overlay Program is available
21 from Sales Tax Funds approved by citizens of the City of Little Rock. Amount authorized not to exceed
22 Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) for Construction Inspection Services related to the 2015
23 Street Overlay Program and the 2016 Street Overlay Program.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
